Pictures and more pictures
Last Sunday I went to city (as usual!), and I took more pictures, new pictures in Darling Harbour, City and Queen Victoria Building galleries.

I’m using now Firefox 2 release candidate 3 and I’m more than ready for downloading the final version next Tuesday. Also I got Internet Explorer 7, which basically got the good things of Firefox 1 and 2. Firefox 2 is really nice, espcially with the anti-phishing tool and the spellchecker, IE7 has also the anti-phishing tool.
The difference is between the programs is basically simplicity: Firefox 2 is a lightweight program which can be installed in minutes while IE7 is still cumbersome, your copy of Windows needs to be verified before downloading and you have install a lot of components (automatically of course) in order to work properly, that wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to wait for the long installation and, yes, restart Windows after that.
I have been with Firefox for a couple of years now and although IE7 is going very closer to Firefox 2, is no really match yet, so better luck next time Microsoft. It is fun that IE7 has to explain what a tab is, are you mad IE? Tabs are old history now, everybody is using them, well at least you got a smile reading that
Yesterday I went to the Aussie Stadium to see the match between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory FC, courtesy of Catherine, who got free tickets. Her mom and Sergey went with us (or should I see we went with Catherine and her mom? well, whatever!) to see a good soccer match. Unfortunately Melbourne won (yeah those bastards!) but we spent such a great time even with the rain at the end.
Last Sunday I found nice things in the city, the Living Colour exhibition with all those nice colourful flowers and a really nice sculpture of Amber Rowe as part of the Art & About exhibition. I do really need to buy one of those big box of nothing! I can have my money back!
When I went to Sydney Tower I didn’t take picture of the tower itself, so here are some pictures.

Yeah life is hard in Sydney sometimes…
Fortunately yesterday wasn’t the case. I went to the city and passed by Darling Harbour to take some pictures again to the Latin festival. I found some Brazilian dancers, Mexican mariachis and I missed the food since they were leaving at 6pm.
Last Friday I went with some friends to Darling Harbour to be in the Fiesta!, the Latin American festival here in Sydney. Many Australians (like my lecturer of Object-Oriented Technology) likes latin music.
Some pictures of the fireworks:
