Chronicles of AustraliaLast Saturday I went to the closing gala of the Sydney Film Festival. It was at the State Theatre and the movie was awesome, Daywatch. It was a Russian movie that I have wanted to see since I saw the first part, Nightwatch. Some awards of the festival were given there, including an award to the best film made with a mobile phone.
And if you haven’t seen Daywatch, then you’re a loser and you will never see it, so I feel sorryĆ for you. Well, you will eventually see it (I reckon) but it’s unknown when it’s going to be released here in Australia, so envy me in the meanwhile. At least you can watch the trailer of Daywatch (the red car scene is great), Bekmambetov can make interesting things with US$ 4.2 millions.

Chronicles of AustraliaBefore Nelly left Australia Tori, Adam and me went along her to try to play bowling, unfortunately we didn’t find a place (I’m not a Sydneysider, blame Tori and Adam). So we ended up having dinner in a restaurant in Parramatta. And I took a nice picture of Nelly and Tori in black and white… heh, heh, come on, the phrase is fun at many levels :).

Chronicles of AustraliaThe last exam System and Network Technologies (aka Vulnerabilities of Commercial Operating Systems) was today and that’s all, no more exams at Macquarie Uni, next semester I’ll take the project and there is no exam in there!! This was probably the most difficult exam but if I’m lucky (and I’ve been lucky before) I’ll get an HD or D. Although I don’t care if I don’t get HD I learnt heaps of useful stuff there. So finally holidays!! Good I’ve been studying too much in this country.
On the bad news Siri left today to Norway, on the good news Nelly left last Tuesday :D.

Chronicles of AustraliaNelly and Siri (aka the hot Norwegian supermodels of the class) are leaving Australia next week, and before that, they wanted to try some Mexican food (except nachos, since both of them have some issues with that, I’ll explain later). So we went with Lachlan to Cafe Pacifico last Tuesday, yeah one more time. Just in case someone don’t believe that I can hang out with two hot Norwegians at the same time here are the pictures:

Chronicles of AustraliaI’ve been rather busy with exams last weeks, but next week everything is going to be normal, I guess. Well I have some pictures from the Italian Festival, at Darlinghurst, I went with Kim and Rodnei to have some nice Italian food.

IT ChannelFor the class of System and Network Technologies (aka Vulnerabilities of Commercial Operating Systems (PDF), a more appropriate name), I managed to go into a Windows 2003 and got the hashes. Unfortunately it seems to be a NTLM hash so the only way that I can figure to crack it is using rainbow tables. So I need help getting rainbow tables for NTLM or someone with an account in rainbowcrack.com. I’d compute the 40 million chains to get access but by that time probably the deadline for submission is over.
Any help will be greately appreciated and rewarded (note you and I can have different ideas of what a reward is). And this is the hash by the way, yeah it can go public is a test machine.
