Bad news
OK this is not the standard bad news of this blog like “I lost my Palm in the bus” or “I got a credit in System and Network Security”, this is serious bad stuff. As many of you might know I’m from Villahermosa, well it happens that the city is suffering the worst flood in 50 years. Even the city centre is getting affected this time. So this is turning in a bad New Orleans-style situation with the difference that the Mexican Army is highly trained to give support during natural disasters and we never shoot to helicopters.
Something like 60% of the city is affected, fortunately my family is fine until now but we’ll see what happen with the city after all this. I know some friends are living in the affecting zones, so I hope they are all fine.
I’m living around here and now the city is looking something like this and the downtown like this. So yeah I’m worrying about my people now
