I got Catherine’s (and James’) postcard from Britain, probably the funnier I’ve got so far. Unfortunately the Crown thinks that you have to pay something extra for using air mail, but they were kind enough to let me know

Yesterday, I was seeing the Australian Open, this time in ESPN and not in the Opera House like last year. I was really shocked by the good play of Janko Tipsarevic who showed no fear of Federer, at all! Well Janko lost at the end, but it was a really good entertaining match, I wonder if one day I’ll be as good as those guys. Who knows? Maybe in a few months… years… OK in my next live.

I installed Windows Vista (courtesy of Microsot and Macquarie University) in my Asus A6J, it looks pretty sleek I liked the Aero interface, but half of my computer was unsupported: no camera, no sound, no card reader, no printer, and some troubles with the wireless. So after some hours trying to fix it, almost begging for drivers in underground internet forums I simply decided to switch back to XP. Actually Vista was slower, I hope they fix all that with the Service Pack 1.

I mostly use Ubuntu anyway.

Now that I have free time in Mexico, finally I could upgrade my blog to the newest version and change the theme. Oh yeah, I dropped the subdomain www.roberto.metaluxo.com to use the main domain instead, please update your bookmarks.
