Well, I haven’t updated too much my blog because of an allergy didn’t let me use the computer for too long. But now that the freaking Australian allergy is virtually gone, I’m back in business. Yesterday (AEST) it was my birthday, now I’m 28, and this is my second birthday in Australia. Although it was raining it was good to spend it with friends at home.

The people of the house got me, besides a really cool birthday card,  an interesting book about cursing in different languages which is quite useful, and Laura my co-worker gave the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which I wanted to read since some time ago. Also lots of SMS and Facebook messages from friends and family in Australia and Mexico. I love technology.

When I arrived to Sydney last Wednesday, Tony and Heidi were very kind giving me a spare room while I get permanent accommodation. However, the house and the location are very convenient, is like a 35-minute ride to the city, so I think I’ll stay in here Additionally they have a huge (really huge!) collection of DVDs and books and that’s a definite plus. You can see the house in Google maps.

I’m in the boarding gate waiting for my flight to Sydney and I start searching for free wireless. I don’t know why, this city which offers free wifi in m anyparts does not have one in the airport. Fortunately I start looking using my Palm until I found the lounge of China Airlines, I they have free internet for their members. I’m not a member but I just sit in front of them and I could call home using Skype
