Firefox Download Day

Posted under IT Channel

Tomorrow 17th of June is the Firefox 3 download day. We’ll try to establish the world record of the software most downloaded in 24 hours. Don’t forget to go to www.firefox.com and get your free copy. Although I don’t know at what time zone does the 24 hours start, I hope GMT+10 :)

I haven’t updated the blog in a few weeks, so for all of you that were concerned about my whereabouts (I know there are a few ones, there should be…) some updates:

  • I went to CeBIT Australia, it’s huge but unfortunately nothing really really amazing, but I got an interesting cover for my mobile.
  • The Maritime Museum finally opened the Welcome Wall, which is a big wall (I can hear the “obviously”, but wait, I haven’t finished!!) with the names of thousands of immigrants and their stories in Australia.
  • And of course, I went to the Primo Italiano. You know I love Italians and their food, and their art and their shameless way to dry clothes. Good food, nice pictures, good music, and good light rain.

And out of festivals and stuff, I finally finished to watch Firefly and then I watched Serenity. It was an excellent series, I don’t know how they dared to cancel it.
