Chronicles of Singapore,
Personal,
TripsOK you’ve heard the news: I’m moving to London! On the 5th of May to be precise. I managed to secure a contract with a company called Prism Entertainment, and after a few interviews on the phone and skype (don’t you love technology?), they extended the offer. I was very surprised considering I was overseas, maybe Britons just like Latin accents
So far so good, last week has been quite of a roller-coaster but interesting and exciting plans are lying ahead. I would have liked to stay a bit longer in Southeast Asia to travel but hopefully I can come back soon for holidays. To be honest, although London was the original plan after Sydney, I don’t regret chaning my plans and coming to this country.
I know many people didn’t think I would make it to the UK, considering the recession and the job market. I’m very glad they didn’t, because that made me try harder again and again, despite the obstacles. As Mr. Confucious said: “it does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop”.

Chronicles of SingaporeI’m still alive I just hadn’t have time to update the blog. Although who needs words when you can see it all in flickr?
Things are going good in Singapore, not as sweet as Australia but still good, lots of funny people and low taxes. It’d be a so nice place to live forever if it weren’t by its monotonous hot weather. You know how much I hate hot and humid, so go figure, my aircon at home is my best friend in here.

Chronicles of SingaporeAfter an incredible long flight from Villahermosa, I landed in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. As incredible as it sounds I got a place to live and a job everything within a week! Yeah, a hit of luck. I mean luck combined with some strategy, in total I applied to around 28 jobs, although at the end I still had the luxury of decide between two job offers. The job I chose is with an online company called Orsiso, with big plans in social networking for 2010. Check out the website and download the client, is built on Adobe Air so it means it works in many operating systems.
The other incredible thing is that I found a place to live in exactly the same complex and the same floor than my friend from Mexico is living in. Actually I can see her kitchen! Thanks Majo for everything.
I know you’re wondering where are the pictures, well I’m still organising that, keep tuned.
